The Story

One island, shot properly.

Greg Curry works one island, and works it properly. Cape Breton is the whole beat — the coastline, the look on someone’s face the first time they see it, and the handful of places most visitors drive straight past.

The photography is self-taught and the eye is unmistakably his: people inside a landscape rather than posed in front of it, shot in real weather, with the kind of timing you only get from knowing a place in every season. A surprise proposal at White Point. A luxury stay that needed to look like more than a room. The ten spots on the island actually worth the drive.

It has never been precious about it. The captions are funny, the advice is specific, and the answer to “where was that taken?” is always a real answer — which is how a photography feed turned into something people plan a trip around.

An ambassador for Destination Cape Breton, making the case for one island to the people who have never seen it — and to the ones who live here.

Content Pillars

Three things this feed does.

Pillar 01

Photography

Portraits, couples and lifestyle work shot on location — the island doing the heavy lifting in the background.

Pillar 02

Tourism

Where to stand, when to go and what it actually looks like when you get there — the posts people screenshot before a trip.

Pillar 03

Content Creation

Short-form video and stills made for businesses on the island, in the same voice as the feed rather than in an ad voice.

Reach

The numbers, kept current.

Pulled straight from Instagram and TikTok insights via InsightIQ and refreshed daily — nothing here is typed in by hand. The view and reach figures count every piece of content that gained views inside each window, not only what was posted in it, and they read more conservatively than the totals shown inside the apps themselves.
